As a kid in school, I’d sneak my books in-between the covers of textbooks so that I didn’t have to pull myself away from the adventures clevery tucked within paragraph breaks and serifs. I’ve always believed in stories and the power they have over us.
Compelled by this love of storytelling, I earned a degree in journalism with a focus on photojournalism. In addition to working as a freelance photographer and writer, I currently manage communications and outreach strategy for a wildlife conservation nonprofit.
If there’s an excuse to be outdoors, I’ve probably tried it. My favorites are fly fishing, hiking, camping and rock climbing.
